He has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Wiener Kammerorchester, the Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin, and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
He has recorded compact discs for the labels Agorà, Rivoalto and Phoenix, including Sonatas of Franck and Magnard, duets by Viotti, and music by Paganini and Tartini. Emmanuele Baldini performs with an instrument manufactured by Italian luthier Ferdinando Garimberti. Brazilian pianist Simone Leitão, founder and artistic director of the Brazilian Classical Series, is a touring artist who enjoys an active career as soloist and chamber musician in three continents. Leitão holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Miami (Studio of Ivan Davis), a Masters in Music by the Norwegian Academy of Music, and Bachelors of Music from the University of Rio de Janeiro.
Her playing has been described as ((intense, full of character, creative, rhythmically strong)), and marked with a solid and ample technique. She continues to rise as one of the most exciting pianists of her generation to emerge from Brazil. Leitão dedicated her D.M.A. dissertation to the analysis, historical background, and interpretative aspects of Mômoprecóce, one of Villa-Lobos’ masterpieces for piano and orchestra.
