Brazilian event in Astoria join Samba and charity

Newark, 9 march 2010. Come celebrate our accomplishments with us as we raise funds to cover the cost of school transportation for our teens in Sao Paulo, Brazil. They have done extremely well during the past 7 months and were rewarded in style experiencing a fantastic trip to an amazing summer camp.
Now it is time for us to raise the bar! The school year is starting in Brazil and they have committed to studying hard. In order to do so Vital SEEDS Inc. needs to cover the transportation cost of each participant which is around $50 USD per month. This cost includes the reduced fair for students to our project in the morning, to their school in the afternoon and back to their homes at the end of the day. They utilize 3 buses per day, 6 days per week (on Saturdays, although there are no classes at public school they come to our project to complete assignments and receive Portuguese and Math tutoring). Our group now has 12 participants and our goal is to include 3 more in the next few weeks, so we will close this year with 15 teenagers.
Isn't such a good reason to dance Samba?! So join us at our next event on March 13 at 8 PM at the location below:
Location: Sapony Night Club, 37-27 32nd street Astoria Blvd, Queens, 11101 between 37 and 38 avenue
Directions:
 www.sapony.com
Price: $10 USD at the door (or for tickets in advance contact Gabriela Dias at gabidias@verizon.net)
Link to the Event: http://vitalseeds.org/EVENTS1.html

Please, forward this email to your friends. Our goal is to have at least 200 guests in order to cover the transportation for the next three months.
My warmest regards,
Gabriela Dias
