NEWARK, NJ, February 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On March 28, 2011, Rose Suriano will be honored as a member of New Jersey's Best Fifty Women In Business. The annual competition, organized by NJBIZ, awards businesswomen who "shape the economic future of New Jersey" and "share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and to the community."
"I feel honored to be a part of this prestigious group," said Rose. "It's great to be acknowledged among a group of such highly respected women, each of whom has made meaningful and extraordinary contributions to our business community."
Candidates were nominated by managers and coworkers based on their excellence in three distinct areas: professional accomplishment, community involvement and advocacy for women.
Rose has been representing businesses and litigating complex commercial matters, at Podvey Meanor, a nationally recognized law firm which recently celebrated its fortieth anniversary, for more than 17 years. As a mother of three young women, Rose is passionate about inspiring and mentoring young women. Her strong leadership, determination and passion for the advancement of women in the workplace led her to establish an intern program for young professionals. Furthermore, as one of only two female equity partners within the firm, Rose continues to break the glass ceiling as she breaks through barriers within the legal profession acting as an advocate for women through her new role as Director on the Board of the Girl Scouts of New Jersey.
Podvey Meanor is proud to congratulate Rose on her well-deserved accomplishment!
